Now, this HabboHero might be a little passé, but recently Habbo has been really lame.

How? Several things have been removed, and with no reasons. I don't know where the newsie is. Something happened to it. There are more glitches then ever. I don't know, I'm not the intro kind-of-guy, so I'll just start off with what is sucking.

1. Wobble Squabble no-more.
Of both varieties. Rooftop Rumble was removed, not only was that the last bastion of Wobble Squabble, but it was perfectly fine as a lounging area. Why removed? We'll never know. The user-hosted Wobble Squabble is also gone. When you're trying to get somewhere where someone is already standing, you will not run there and go in a big circle like we all loved and remembered. Now you will do nothing. As soon as they move though, it's all yours. So, 100% effective defense, and just noob click that square the opponent is on and boom, you've advanced one space.

2. Cunning Fox Game Hall sunken.
The Battle Ship area was a corner-stone of my Habbo career as a noobie, now it is gone. There was tic-tac-toe, chess and poker; but they weren't as well organized so I'm not as depressed about those leaving. I wonder why they even get rid of them, is it really taking up that much space? I am not sure.

3. Papparazzi aint got nothin' on me.
Nope, these people demanding to write articles about be can no longer snag a nice juicy shot of Magnaflux. Why? Cameras are now extinct. Actually, I'm not sure if they are per say, but they deleted everyones fim, excluding photos that have already been taken, and that made them pretty useless. That's just the minor thing, as of yesterday on Habbo.ca there are no more stickies. That's right, those little notes are gone. And unlike the photos, you did not keep your already owned stickies. Everyone of them is gone. You can only imagine my anger when I walked in to my "Room of Stickies" on WHS1991. This isn't even fair, I spent like 30 credits on those stickies and it was a room I was actually kind of proud of. I should be reimbursed or something.

4. I have rights, I can give you furni. Right? Wrong!!
Unless your account is verified, you cannot drop furni or trade people furni. Now you may be thinking, "Hey Magnaflux, why did you not just put your email?" If you have ever registered for anything online, you'll know they like to spam your email. I have over 9000 unread emails that I can only remove 15 at a time at most, I do NOT need more spam. Same with trades, that is just stupid. If you don't have a verified email, but the other user does, you can still trade. That's where I don't understand the point of doing this at all then, because I can see the non-verified accounts the most likely to scam people, trade people during the middle a game, steal furni, so on.. but now if I log on to spellman, since he has a verified email I can just log on both accounts and trade each other and become rich as a motha trucka, and it would be impossible for me to pay back. Dumb.

5. They're just removing the best cheap furni, nothing funny about this title.
I have been more of a .com junkie as of recently, and as I'm reeling in the goods from Falling Furni (I always win.) I have also been getting lots of credits for it. So I head on up to the catologue to buy some furni to see.. wat!!!?! Where is Area? Grr, Habbo you're so dumb. Whatever, lodge isn't too bad. Wait.. that's gone too? Why the fuck is Mode still in the catologue? Does anyone that isn't the biggest n00b to strike habbo since jake432 even LIKE mode? I would not accept a donation of mode, and if it was dropped in my room via a donation (which is impossible now.) I would pick it up and keep it in my hand, or maybe I would make a hate room dedicated to jake432, and put that furni in there. I'd obviously lock the room and he wouldn't know, but I would know. And what I know is the only important thing to me. They also got rid of the mini pura fridge, gay. I ended up buying a bunch of pura seats by the way.

6. Beta
Overall, I do not have a HUGE problem with Beta unlike some of these people. I don't think it's that bad, but they're changing some off the things that makes Habbo such a recognizable place. The way the habbos walk to the room is different, it reminds me of Coke-Music physics, and I did not enjoy that. The tool bar at the bottom has been moved vertical and on the left side of the screen. The bottom is another very nostalgic part of Habbo. They are getting rid of that top bar of Habbo again, which I remember discussing with Peedi was stupid to begin with. Why do they waste their time with stupid things? Argh. spellman is excited for the new "zoom in" feature for those monster rooms, this was originally something I was intrigued in (the monster rooms) but after about 5 days, I have tried to avoid them as I just don't find it as.. I don't know, interesting. I guess it's surprising I have any interest in habbo at all after 5 years, most people have moved on by now. What's another thing I don't like about Beta. Hmm, grabbing a drink is different now, it's not that upsetting, but a little illogical. I can be completely behind my mocha machine and grab a drink. I am no longer able to frustrate noobs who are like "OMVE YU FAT WHORE BICH I WANT JUICE HOE". A pity indeed, oh. Another thing about the drinks. You can't double to get over to them. I'm just so used, so I still do it. Now I am making 4 clicks instead of 2. Way to go habbo, you're fucking wasting my life away!

7. They made it so you can't leave teles sideways
This is really annoying to me in particular. I am an avid mazer, and I own my own maze with @Tuhday@, and with some of our teles turned for those levels with "If you go this way, you live. Go this way, you think you live.. but after about 3 minutes it sinks in.. you dead." So it got rid of that fun, I had to go through every maze and move the teles, and sometimes it still didn't work so I had to go through the maze like 5 whole times to fix it. Also if you head in to a tele that is not connected, it'll spit you right back out. Annoying in those tele-hell mazes.

8. They fixed that error.
After I spent all that time to change the teles, they have now fixed that. What a waste of time.

9. It's summer time, git atta heeyuh Snow Storm!
With Beta coming you, Snow Storm will be gone. This is one of the good additions to habbo over the past few years, Snow Storm. Sure, I wasn't that huge a player, but I thought it was a good game none the less. Battleball is going too, but no one even plays Battleball so I don't think anyone cares.

10. The fact none of these have been told to us, until they happened.
That title pretty much sums it up. Did I know stickies would be gone? No. I found out and cried like a bitch the next day. That shock can kill a person.

This blog hasn't been updated since 2006. (Yikes, I know.) I haven't checked my e-mail in just as long. I received a few (not that many) e-mails regarding the blog and I'd like to thank the people who said they liked the blog. A couple people even asked for me to help create layouts for their personal websites, which is kind of strange, because I find my layouts a little too simple.

This post is pretty much to address the, "Dude, what hell happened to the blog man!?" hubbub. Those who know me on Habbo should know that I stopped logging on for a long time. I pretty much quit, but I didn't make an announcement or create some going away party. I mean, uh, what's the point? lol OK, so the deal is that when I was no longer on Habbo, there was nothing to observe and write about, and I kind of just left the blog the way it is.

If it weren't for Magnaflux, the blog would of had absolutely no new content at all. If you're reading this man, thanks. Now, where was I? Oh, the layout. Yeah, it's new. The sad thing though, is that I made this layout back in 2006, I just had some problems coding it and I eventually put it off, got lazy, or lost interest in the blog.

I honestly enjoyed working on the Habbo Hero blog though. I mean, where else can you find stuff like this:

I don't know if I have the time to keep updating the blog though, but it would be nice to update it every once in awhile. Although it would be kind of pointless for people to check the blog continuously if it's only going to be updated like twice a month. I could try and get more people to join the blog to submit content, but for now I wouldn't expect any new content to come in. Who knows though, maybe tomorrow I'll have a new post and some new people. (Still, I wouldn't expect any new content to come in. lol)

V11 Hits Canada!

Well, with Peedi being recently assassinated it's up to I to continue on with the black man's dream! So as Peedi would have wanted it, I shall give you the input on V11. So as you've seen in one of the earlier articles where we hit up Finland there is new clothes, but I really don't like the new area furniture, and they still have the really gay topbar that says like logout and tells you ammount of the habbos, despite never updating. But I don't like new area because it's lost all it's classiness, now it's shiney :( Also stacking has been made nearly impossible....

Also it's not harder to leave rooms now that you can click on people in doors by clicking on the door instead of the wall like recently added in V.10

Anyways, that's my rant about V11

I was just wandering into some random room casually at 3:30 AM as usual, no one else was on. I talked to some girl from the UK and we eventually led into a chat about my furni. After some talk she came with this ingenious idea... "why dun u put ur furni in ere and it me and urs room" I ofcourse with my great wit detested this, saying I just met her, and she could not be trusted. Then she's like "ok i get my mum" then then.. oh this such commical line here, it just had to be screenied

After that I was all like "Yeah, and my friends know me as Gheorghe Muresan!" She ofcourse was British and a woman. I don't think there's a single Brit woman out there who know Gheorghe. Gheorghe ofcourse is a 7'8 ex-NBA player. He's about a quarter of a centimeter or something crazy shorter then Manute Bol, the tallest. However he outweighs him probably by 200 pounds(Manute I don't think even weighed 200 pounds)

This ofcourse is totally of subject of the scammer. She kept trying to convince me to trust her and that it really was her mother(Jackie). After a strong-fought battle I got her to cough up "am a scammer" I was all like "KNEW IT!" then she kicked me. Just your 2-month update! :D

Ilpo

Often I find myself bored of guest rooms and opting for the alternative of the public rooms. Whether it be by myself or with a friend or two we scan the public rooms looking for some interesting goings on. This is about what happened on one of such occasions.
So along with my friend, Fantasy, I find myself in the Pizza Palace, or as Tim likes to call it "Pizza Paradise". Tim is quite the character, and a confused one at that. He says he is a vegetarian who likes peperoni on his pizza. To get things going in the conversation, I decide to start out the right way and make sure we have our names all cleared up.

Now that that is out of the way... We (thanks to Magnaflux) also discovered that Charlie is Ilpo too, and I start to wonder what they are putting in the water. maybe some sort of brain stimulant that makes everyone think the same, and that they are Ilpo. After all, they BOTH dedicate thier pizza to thier mothers. On the other hand Ilpo doesn't seem to be quite as nice as Ilpo is. Even if Ilpo is a Chefmaster and Ilpo is not, I think Ilpo is clearly the better man. Hmm I suppose that could get confusing, them having the same name and all... just to clarify, it went Charlie Tim Charlie Tim Tim. All better? Since Tim is my favourite bot, I think it's time I let him know. Oddly enough he sings!

Not only Beatles tunes, but Swing on a star and some other song about pizza that I remember from Lady and the Tramp
So Tim is my favourite bot and I'd like to know which one(s) you like? I know some of them can be quite rude perhaps due to some cynnical programmers but perhaps there are other interesting bots out there and I'm just oblivious to it.

Peedi's Thoughts: Pilot

This is a new segment I would like to introduce. Everytime I walk through the hotel I notice things, now you can find out if others feel the same way or the complete opposite.

- Know how some people have the word "single" in their mission. Isn't that creepy? I mean internet predators come in all shapes and forms. When someone friend requests me, the first thing I do is I search them by console to see if I recognize them. When I don't recognize them and see "single" I just hit reject. I don't want to judge anybody so I'll leave it at that.

- Ever been in a maze ahead of someone where you get stuck at a certain spot and somebody behind you is going berserk, then as soon as you move on, they get stuck and ask YOU for help. Doesn't that feel great? Especially when people behind that person are doing the same thing that person just did to you.

- Who was the first genius to come up with the "HC and non-HC" parties? Serious, shouldn't you just name it "Party," unless it says non or HC party, putting both in there is not needed.

I have many more ~~stupid and pointless~~ thoughts and oppinions, but I'll save those for other days.

I have no idea how it happened but I was searching the term "habbo hero" in Google just to see what would turn up and found out that Habbo Hero is now listed. Not bad. I wonder if there is a way to broaden the chances of Habbo Hero showing up as a result under other searches.

Habbo V10

Habbo Hotel Finland has already moved up to the next version. As soon as I got the message I went right down. The new version will be number 10, in it there are some really nice updates like Public rooms that are guest room sized (as aposed to guest rooms that are public room sized in V9). Habbo has also increased the wardrobe; the amount of colours for clothing for non club clothing now has as many colour variations as HC clothing and there are a couple new shirts.

Get bored of the wallpaper selection in the hotel? In V10 there will be many new designs to put in your room from clouds, hearts, bricks, and stripes. Some of the new wallpaper designs are actually pretty good. (The clouds are nice but might take some getting use to.)

V10 also comes with new revamped furniture. Some good, some bad. There is a new set of Iced furni which comes in blue. Blue is my favourite colour and I like Iced furni, but something about this doesn't work. Me personally, I think the new blue Iced furni is ugly. Maybe it could of been a little lighter.

Not only is there new iced furniture, but the Area furniture has a new look. I might of been the only person who liked Area furni over everything else, but over in Habbo Finland alot of people were using the new Area furni. Maybe the new look is going to catch on.

Finally, the (maybe) V10 public room. It is only one public room and I'm not sure if this is a Finland only room because it was actually inside another public room. (Confused?) All I can say is this room is a public room that is sized like a guest room. Hopefully it (or another room like it) will be available to the Canadian hotel when we reach V10.

It was about time Habbo had new clothes and about time they cleaned up the dated furni, so hopefully this update will come to Canada soon.

Update: There is also revamped Mode furni in V10, but the change is hardly noticable. You can see all the updates firsthand at the Finland Habbo Hotel at www.habbo.fi.

This is what makes us "hero's"

Some average guys went through the Hotel looking to expose scammers, hackers, troublemakers, and uhh... lovemakers. This is one of their stories.

One of the three guys messaged the others to imediately come to a certain room named "Naughty with you." Inside this room some devious acts were being done, so being the "hero's" they were, they went into action as soon as possible. One girl, we will call her "Green Girl," was the main suspect. Before ~~I, I mean uh~~ the hero uploaded the pictures, the hero thought about not showing names, being a human being, so if the Green Girl is watching. We They are actually watching you. Be good!

As they approached the Green Girl, her partner in crime, Yellow Boy kicked the hero's with all his might. But no matter how many kicks he had, the hero's came back. When they thought they were safe, they had gotten back to what they were doing before the hero's arrived. Below here is the greatest screenshot of all time captured by one of the great hero's.

Obviously the Green Girl likes to go public as bystanders are in the door. She doesn't care as long as she gets the job done. (No pun intended.) The hero's then regrouped again and again, but the Green Girl would stop at nothing. The hero's came in again with a second plan which was completely different for each hero. One claimed to be a "tourist," while another was just open and questioning, and the third even offered the Green Girl to "continue." (lol)

In the end they were eventually locked out, but the message was not lost. If the hero's meet the Green Girl again, you better believe it's on!

Free rights room, kick no more?

Being the man I am, it is my civil duty to explore thousands and billions of rooms a day, and just about two days ago I was in a kickwars room when the host had some troubles with her teles and one room, at first when I got into the room I just figured it was just all funky and glitching like a crazy thing.. I couldn't kick anyone in them kick wars, I've been kicked oh, 8 times or so since then in non-free right rooms, but as I'm typing this very very interesting article *rollin' eyes* I am in another free rights room and of course the first that comes to mind is "I gotta kick dis foo' before he kicks me!" so I try to do so but to my immediate sadness it would not let me, I don't know if this is just a temporary glitch or something because I really just want to pwn some n00bz :)

I know Peedi isn't a fan of mad 1337z chatspeak but oh well, that's all! ... for now

The Infamous... Infobus?

The Infobus isn't exactly "infamous," some people might not like it because of the confusing schedule and low chances of getting in, but hey. I made it in, so today I wasn't one of them. Inside there were multiple poll questions relating to safety and some random topics. Also, the now celebrity status LeChuck himself was in there.

The start of it was basically a short wait in line. I got in by mere luck and a case of "being in the right place at the right time." On the inside it was a couple people over obsessed with LeChuck (who is a good guy) who overcrowded him. Then a couple of random conversations leading to drugs (I'm serious) and Internet predators (I'm really serious). It's basically like going to rttennis' room when he's having a party (minus the drugs and predators).

Every time I'm in the Infobus Park, everyone wants to know what the Infobus is, what you do, and what it looks like on the inside. So here it is.

Spy Man!

Recently I have been exploring habbo under a hidden identidy.. The-spy-guy, though practically everyone I meet I'm like "Hey Peedi! It's me Magnaflux!" and so I'm not really hiding my identidy.. but here is my most recent spy-work

Magnaflux and his partner jay-man hear word of something going down in Bogi's room so we immediataly suit-up and go in.

Quick thinking by Magnaflux though sadly getting kicked and get locked out, after business is done with -=twinky=- and Bogi he unlocks, I sneak in but jay-man can't make it in time... It's a solo mission from here on out.

Much to my delight he comes back with new prey, I can safely hide now though due to coming in before he saw me, from here on out I just sit back and watch.

Uh oh, this could be big, I best be sure not to make ANY mistakes or else it's my life at stake.

Oh no I've been caught! Or so I thought, after a very intense 10 seconds of waiting he resumes with his scheme... only time will tell what I unveil

Ahah! A scammer caught dead in his tracks.. but I continue in my secrecy, could there be more? Should I intervene and tell her not to? I hope she is a smart cookie so I keep the lip shut and continue with my spy-ee-ness.

Looks like I should have spoken up, they head for her room, but I feel the need to let out a monsterous roar for the information in which I am about to expose!

Sadly there is no where for this spy to adapt to and I'm open like a sitting duck and get no deep information or let out a scream for her safety.. hopefully this scammer didn't get away...

It's Official

I don't actually want to say anything, but some familiar faces may be here. One who I think is now official. Some others have left messages on my old account about Habbo Hero. I didn't want to really say my new(er/ish) Habbo name over the blog because of the many incidents of identity theft (copied name) that happened with my old name. But oh well, you can't escape these kinds of things, and if someone gets me mixed up with someone who is blatantly not me, then wow. (lol)

The blog is really slow right now, sorry about that. I hope to have a new banner up in a short while because it is no longer a one man show. (The superhero theme might be gone, just a heads up for all those people who said I looked good in tights.)

Sometime next week, Habbo Hero will be back to the fun stuff! For those who haven't been lucky enough to be apart of the Habbo Hero since the beggining, I suggest reading the December archive.

Pickin' up Dust

As I was browsing my computer I found these old alts I made. (Technically, they belong to Sulake, but you know the deal.) I think I published them on HabboHut's forums once and nobody believed they were my own work or that I made them in MS Paint. (How can people be so certain of something they had no hand in creating?)

This sofa might look familiar, you might have seen it in the MuchMusic HQ. I've always liked the look of these sofas and wanted to see them in full scale, so I thought, why don't I make an attempt at it. I don't know why Habbo hasn't made these or something like these as a real piece of furni in the Hotel. They look alot better than those Mode sofas... *shudder*

Yes... for those who know me, it has been a very long time since I've had the elvis hair.

"Help Wanted"

I haven't been around this blog that often and a short while ago found out that I could actually have more people assist in this blog. For awhile the blog was popular, then I kinda disapeared (and so did the visitors, lol).

Well, I am looking for some people to help me out this time around. If your new here and are not sure what this blog is really about. It is a Habbo Hotel Canada (fan?)site; the content is pretty much funny stories (with caption) about times on Habbo, news, or oppinions (everyone has one right?).

To join, all you really need to know is how to form a proper and complete sentence (which would make you overqualified, lol!). Just e-mail peedelicious@gmail.com with:

Once you have sent the e-mail, you will be replied with an invitation link. If your having second thoughts and would not like to join, it's OK, just simply click on "decline." New look, Old roots

The Habbo Hero has finally gained a new look after 7 months. (Can you believe it?!) I was messin' around one day and blam! I also noticed the blog hasn't been as popular since the start. The articles that had the most interest were the crazy stories I had such as the case of the "Warm Sandwich" and the "Chaos..." series.

Expect newer and crazier stories to come in the future. I sent in a funny little joke news article submission to the uh... Newsie. If I get a real reply other than the automated response, I'll keep you posted. If nothing happens, I forgot to save it, so I can't remember word-for-word what was in it.

Last but not least, a big thanks goes out to everyone who has supported The Hero.

Side note: I recently discovered other people with blogger accounts can post if you give them permission to make new posts. So maybe in the future there will be stories/news on here from other Habbo's. Stay tuned.

New Furni Promotion... UK Only?

I was walking through the hotel and went into a room who happened to have one of these...

Pretty nice huh? About time Habbo had a new sofa, the best part about it is, it seats 3 people! I kid you not. Habbo Hotel is currently having a promotion for these new pieces of furniture. The only way to obtain them is to buy a custom shirt or accessory from a website called Spreadshirt. You can customize a graphic, by choosing colours, or you can even add text or use just text alone. It's very limited and I am not sure if this promotion works at all with Canada (habbo.ca), but I personally have seen these items in the Canadian hotel first hand.

Oh yeah, these two items of furni come as a package, you buy a shirt or an accessory, you receive both items. They are called "Chinese Red Knots" and "Chinese Sofa."

Useless, Just Useless

I was talking to another Habbo who actually made a really good point, I kinda forgot their name, but it was a dude with a hat. We were talking and both came up with the same idea. Know the little bar they added to the top of the Hotel window? If you don't follow, this is what I mean.

Well, that bar that shows the number of online Habbo's and has a brand spanking new "logout" button is completely, utterly, useless. The number of online Habbo's never updates (unless you would like to click the restart/reset button on your browser, lol, let's see how fun that would be). And all the "logout" button does is close the window, but there is already a "Close" button on my web browser in the general area that "logout" button is. (Except for Mac's which have the caption buttons on the other side.)

The bar on the top is a great idea, it would be nice if I could just "logout" of Habbo without closing and reopening a new window. Plus the ability to see how many Habbo's are online is also useful, but what Habbo did is like buying a clock at 12:00 and not setting it.

I only found this on accident (mainly because .ca has been lacking lately). While Habbo UK is constantly expanding, has a full catelog (i.e. doesn't rip us off by getting rid of Iced or Bathroom furni and sells various plants all year round), and has contests that people actually care about or take more then 2 minutes. Yet again, the Canadian hotel is struggling to get 2500 members on at once, while UK has 13, 000 members online on average! (Remember when the Donnie Santini challenges were on weekly? The Canadian hotel had around 3000+ members on everytime I went online, because everyone knew something was going to happen.) And yet again, the UK hotel is expanding. They have added this amazing room to their already large line-up of public rooms.

Count the days people, today is May 22nd. It will be snowing by the time we even think about seeing this new room, luckily, I waited in line over at the UK hotel and snapped this screenshot. Also, when .ca usually gets a new room, it's usually been on other hotels for a long time, which drains any ounce of interest anybody has left. Selling off something 3+ months old and calling it new is not the greatest idea. The movie Ong Bak was pretty good though.

Why would you name your room a filtered word? Seriously?

Everyday, and I mean every bobba in day! (lol) I see rooms renamed by Mods to the ever-so-classic "Unappropriate to Hotel Management." Go in your navigator and search: unappropriate... Yep.

What goes in to the minds of these people? Do they purposely want to get their room renamed by a Mod? I mean, if your on the top of the navigator in the "Chill & Party Floor" with a room named "Strihp Club," your a sitting duck. The Mods don't even need to hunt, your blatently in their face. People get banned for swearing, sexually explicit language, threats, etc, but if it's in the title of your room name, you don't get banned. Whether it be a racist room, a strip club, or just a whole bunch of swear words pasted together. Hmmm...

Top 5: Annoying Words

There are some words I see overused and abused on the Habbo Hotel, (some more then others) I felt the need to make a list to air out my grievances.

5. "Bwaby" - Who's idea was it to type in baby talk?

4. "Donate" - Why don't the beggars just straight-up say what they really want. A handout! Not a donation.

3. "Plz" (Sometimes "plzz," "plzzz," or "plzzzz.") - Please, would someone stop whining! Is everyone on Habbo a spoiled brat? How many times will you ask for something until you get your own way?

2. "Soz" - For awhile I never knew what this meant, I thought it was "sauce," but it actually means "sorry." I don't know about you, but "sry" is a much better way of saying it. How the H-E-Double Hockey sticks did someone transfer "sorry" into "soz." That truely baffles me.

1. "Noob" (Sometimes "nub," [The 'U' is a vowel sound] "noober," or "n00b.") - This word is being used more times then 3 dollar... ~~Sorry~~ (I mean) Soz, can't say that one. It's now some sort of word that makes Habbo's feel superior or they are just mad and feel like degrating anyones character. Whatever its original use was, has been thrown out the window. It has been adopted by idiots.

Habbo Gathering, Part 3

Yet another massive Habbo gathering. This time its a little different, because 1. I have no idea what this one is about and 2. I actually made it inside (if you were here to remember the "Chaos... I missed K-OS" and "It's like "Chaos" all over again," you'll know what I mean). All I know is, your favourite Habbo paparazzi (me, I'm hoping) has taken some photo's (screenshots) of some Habbo celebrities (staff members). Except paparazzi get paid after they have given their pictures to some sleazy tabloid.

Since I don't know whats going on, this will just be some screenshots and maybe someone could post a comment telling me exactly what was happening. I caught a glimpse of things, I overheard someone asking about "who won the free dogs?" and the words "habbo hut." Was Habbo Hut giving away free dogs for the chinese new year?

PS: Alot of people seem to like to look at my blog, but not comment. Sheesh, but you guys have no problem spamming my console!
